“We should buy a bar!”
I love craft beer, and my husband has been a homebrewer for over 15 years. So, in 2016 we opened a brewpub! Striving to “Bring Balance to the Brew” in a landscape of overly hoppy or malty brews, we built a neighborhood place where people could gather for good food, good beer, and good times. Inspired by the geology of Wisconsin and simple, traditional beer styles, I approached the visual language using utilitarian design elements, vintage aesthetic, and DIY projects to create a comfortable, easy drinking atmosphere, with a contemporary viewpoint.
Crowler Label
Beer isn’t bottled or canned, so there aren’t physical labels, but each beer gets an “UnLabel” to promote it online and in the brewpub.
The hand-painted logo wall is a centerpiece, and acts as visible signage from outside at night.
